KHOJALY REJOINT LA MYTHOLOGIE DE BALTZINGER

En très peu de temps, Renaud BALTZINGER, aura porté une série importante retraçant un acte génocidaire méconnu. Dans de nombreux endroits du globe, le mot "Khojaly" commence à raisonner dans les esprits.

Pour l'auteur et son commanditaire, Hugues BALTZINGER, il était vital que le monde connaisse cette page d'histoire.
L'ampleur du phénomène a commencé lors de l'exposition à Paris où un collectionneur s'adressant à Renaud BALTZINGER s'étonnait de l'immensité du projet, de l'engagement de l'artiste au travers d'une peinture inimaginable, "hurlante" de vérité.
C'est à cet instant que le peintre a compris que "Khojaly" ferait comme il était convenu, le tour du monde. Et grâce à certains amis de Hugues, la série a pris un tout autre corps. Citons Reyhan Huseynova, Vazeh Asgarov et Bayram Balci. Mais aussi Hamlet Akbarov, Leyla Jafarova et tant d'autres.
En un an, le peintre est passé du statut "local" à "international" emportant toujours avec lui non pas une fierté pédante mais le bonheur de réaliser une promesse qui en elle même en était une autre. Un promesse à son frère qui lui même s'était promis d'honorer ce peuple qu'il aimait.
Khojaly a été vu à Paris, à Longeville les Metz par Madame la Ministre de la Culture Française -Aurélie FILIPPETTI, à Bakou en Azerbaïdjan et en 2015 dans deux autres endroits très prestigieux.

Depuis "Khojaly", le peintre a réalisé 3 autres séries dont la dernière, le Silence d'une Reine est un hommage à la femme qu'il aime. Lisa Weston écrit au sujet de cette série: " son épouse Céline dont les silences et les mystères l’intriguent... un travail à la lisière du travail de vitrail, dont l’inclinaison des têtes rappelle aisément des figures christiques. Influence dont il est facile de faire le lien avec les 8 années qu’il a passées à étudier la théologie."

Fin 2014, la série sera exposée à Bakou par Arts ArtsCouncil Azerbaijan¨ ainsi que l'ensemble de la tétralogie dite "le Temple aux Miroirs" (à laquelle s'ajoutera d'ici peu une nouvelle série. "La Mort de Vincent". Vincent, oiseau à deux têtes de la mythologie perse -dit "Homa"). Ainsi Renaud BALTZINGER accepte la terminologie de "mythologie en construction" concernant son travail et caractérisant l'ensemble de son oeuvre.

The magnitude of the phenomenon began during the exhibition in Paris where a collector addressing Renaud BALTZINGER wondered the vastness of the project, the commitment of the artist through unimaginable painting, " screaming " truth .
